Who We Are. What We Do.

Our Story

K’awat’si Cold Storage facility serves the growing need on the North Island. Built by the K’awat’si Construction Company and located at the North Island Mall on Trustee Road, the facility has 8000 square feet that holds 2.2 million pounds of cold storage capacity. This capacity will help relieve the 10 million pounds of storage shortfall in the region to serve the growing needs of the local fishing community and the influx of sport fishers during the busy summer month.
